MT. PROSPECT VILLAGE FAIR, JULY 5, 2008 - What a great time! The weather was perfect, not
too hot, not too cold - we had a great spot opening for the headliners, "Elevation." Special
shout out to Russ, Becky, Pauline, Len, Deb, Carly, Mary Ann and her posse, B.I. Joe, Matt,
Kelly and Tom, and our newest fan, Jim, pictured below with Lisa G. (wearing a Sox jersey
and basball hat). Unfortunately, our new guitar player, Paul, already had an engagement for
this weekend before he joined the band so he couldn't play with us, but we were lucky
enough to have Tim Burns step in, on loan from Bill O'Connell (of "Bill O'Connell's Chicago
Skyliners Band" and "One Foot in the Groove" fame). Thanks Tim! Bill also showed up! It
was great to see him in the audience too! Special thanks to our photographers, Suki and
Carly, and also, thanks to Jeff S. of the Mt. Prospect Lions Club, for putting this shindig
together!
